Database and Unix Administrator Support

Issue

Client is a hospitality and entertainment company located in the Midwest. Their UNIX Administrator resigned and they were planning to hire a replacement.

DSI Solution

After speaking with Dimension Systems the Client decided to engage DSI to provide daily Unix Administration support at a savings of over 50% of the cost of a direct hire. ADSI was initially engaged to provide the client with UNIX administration support, but ultimately replaced the client’s Database Administrator. In addition to providing day-to-day UNIX and DBA support, DSI also developed a disaster recovery plan for Client’s computing environment using a third-party hot site. DSI also provides PeopleSoft application support on an as needed basis.
