This home metals and iron casting company in the North Central U.S. uses PeopleSoft HCM and Financials applications. They had an internal employee providing UNIX administration and DBA support but the Client was dissatisfied because of significant issues with the backup and recovery process. In total, two people managed their database and infrastructure.

DSI Solution

Dimension Systems was engaged to provide DBA services, including streamlining their database set-up and backup/recovery procedures. Then, due to staff turnover, the Client engaged DSI to provide application support for the PeopleSoft system. Subsequently, DSI took over total responsibility for UNIX administration.
